Victoria L. Stone is a non-attorney legal professional with extensive experience in law and business. She currently serves as Office Manager and Paralegal at Stone Law, P.C., in Toms River, New Jersey. In this role, she assists attorneys in a wide range of legal matters, including patent drafting, trademark applications and litigation, copyright drafting and litigation, business matters, and real estate transactions. She is responsible for prioritizing legal matters, client correspondence, and drafting legal documents, as well as supervising office staff and managing client billing. Additionally, she is responsible for law firm marketing and advertising.
Victoria began her academic journey at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science. During her time there, she was actively involved in extracurricular activities, including the Mock Trial Team and the Delta Gamma Fraternity. After graduation, Victoria earned her Master in Business Administration from Georgian Court University, School of Business, in Lakewood, New Jersey.
Victoria later attended Touro Law Center in Central Islip, New York, where she earned a Juris Doctorate in May 2022. During her time at Touro Law, Victoria earned numerous awards and honors, including the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Civil Dispute Resolution & Procedure, Sales, Constitutional Law I, Land Use Zoning & Planning, Trusts & Estates, Structural Barriers and Equity, and Drafting Commercial Documents. She was also awarded the Faculty Recognition Award for Academic Excellence in Business Organizations and Property II in the Spring of 2020. Victoria was an active member of the Touro Law Honor’s Program and served as a Teaching Assistant for Professors Jack Graves (Contracts) and Laura Dooley (Torts).
In addition to her academic achievements, Victoria has extensive volunteer experience. She served as a Member of the Land Use Board in Pine Beach, New Jersey, from 2018-2019, where she resolved local land use applications and determined appropriate action based on town zoning ordinances. She also served as the Chairperson of the Ocean County, New Jersey Juvenile Conference Committee (“JCC”), where she worked to divert first-time offenders from being charged in a formal court proceeding. Additionally, Victoria served as a Court Appointed Volunteer Mediator for Municipal Courts in Toms River, Point Pleasant, Jackson, Stafford Township, Berkley Township, Jersey City, and Barnegat, NJ, where she mediated truancy cases and civil matters.
Victoria has also published a report in the New York Zoning Law and Practice Report in March/April 2021 titled “Hot-Wired: Litigation Surrounding the Modern Eruv in New York & New Jersey.” This report discusses the legal challenges and controversies surrounding the modern Eruv, a symbolic boundary that allows Jews to carry items on the Sabbath.
